Description
This beautiful mountain which is located in County Sligo, rises to a height of 497 m/1,730 ft. A prominent flat-topped limestone buttress, scored by erosion, it forms part of the Dartry range and dominates the surrounding landscape. The mountain is celebrated in �Under Ben Bulben� by the poet W B Yeats, who is buried nearby in Drumcliff cemetery
